Soft Collision
Soft Collision
The intersection of the many versions of ourselves.
‘Soft Collision’ explores the quiet merging of identity. A meditation on the way we evolve, fracture, and reform across seasons of life, particularly through the experience of transitioning through the ages.
This work sits in the in-between: where the girl, the woman, the artist, the mother all blur at the edges. It is about the moments when transformation is not sharp but slow. When growth doesn’t announce itself, but bleeds gently into what came before.
Through layered shapes, shifting hues, and overlapping forms, I investigate how identity is not static, but fluid. A living archive of all the selves we’ve ever been.
“Soft Collision” is the place where we meet ourselves again. Changed, but still recognisable.
